As the FIH’s Global Supplier, the Poligras turf, manufactured and installed by Polytan, will also be laid at the Wagener Stadium in Amsterdam. This famous hockey stadium will host the other half of the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup matches, including the women’s final.
Poligras’ 10th World Cup selection driven by sustainable innovation
Recently, Polytan supplied and installed Poligras turfs for the 2018, 2022, and 2023 FIH Hockey World Cups, as well as the Olympic Games in Tokyo and Paris. The Poligras Paris GT zero turf that was developed for Paris is the world’s first carbon-zero hockey turf, and is also certified as an FIH innovation category dry turf.
In total the 2026 edition will mark the tenth time Poligras hockey turf has been chosen for a Hockey World Cup, and the third time it has been chosen as the World Cup turf for the iconic Wagener Stadium.
